Brian Ross

brianross2Brian A. Ross launched AssuredMedPay.com in January of 2013. Prior to that he was named President of KnowledgeWorks in September 2010 and also became its Chief Executive Officer in June 2011.  Ross, who began his career as an economics instructor at Miami University, has been a KnowledgeWorks board member since 2007

He served as Chief Operating Officer of Cincinnati Bell Inc. (Formerly known as Broadwing Inc.) from July 2008 to August 8, 2010. Mr. Ross oversaw the daily management and performance of sales, marketing, and operating activities across all of Cincinnati Bell’s business segments. Mr. Ross served as the Chief Financial Officer of Cincinnati Bell Inc. from January 12, 2004 to July 2008. He spent 6 years at Cincinnati Bell, and served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Accounting for Bell’s Cincinnati-based operating subsidiaries. He served as Vice President of Finance and Accounting for Cincinnati Bell Enterprise, Vice President of Finance and Accounting for Cincinnati Bell Wireless, and Assistant Treasurer for Cincinnati Bell Inc. since 1995. He served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Student Loan Funding Resources, Assistant Treasurer of U.S. Shoe, and Controller for Mead Coated Board Europe in Vienna, Austria. Mr. Ross has been a Director of Alaska Communications Systems Group Inc. since October 2011. He serves as a Member of the Teradata Advisory Board a Division of NCR. Mr. Ross serves on the boards of the KnowledgeWorks Foundation, Ursuline Academy, and Diamond Fiber Composites Inc. In addition, he is on the boards of the Cincinnati Equity Fund and the New Markets Fund, which provide funding for the City of Cincinnati’s urban renewal initiatives. Mr. Ross holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics and Statistics from Miami University and a Master’s degree in Statistics from the University of California at Berkeley.
